Approximately one hundred leaves of manuscript notes as well as approximately one hundred and twenty-five index cards with manuscript notes likely written by E Palmer Patterson. Additionally contains a typescript draft article (nineteen leaves, computer output) titled, "The Nishga wolf crest and the coming of the missionaries, 1860-1887," written by E Palmer Patterson. Also includes a typescript draft article (thirty-five leaves) with manuscript notes titled, "Early Nishga-European contact to 1860," written by E Palmer Patterson. The typescript draft articles and notes were originally housed in a package titled, Pre-contact and early contact.

Nesika : a journal devoted to the land claims movement.

Two copies of Nesika, a journal published by the United Native Nations (formerly the B.C. Association of Non Status Indians) in March/April 1976 and May 1976 respectively. Both issues contain articles about the life and career of Andrew (Andy Paull) using information derived from an unpublished 400 page doctoral thesis written by E Palmer Patterson. The issues published in March/April 1976 also contains a feature article about Northwest Territories land claims. The periodicals were originally housed in a package titled, Tongass Tlingit: Tongass at Ft. Simpson. The term Tongass is an anglicized variant name for the Taantʼa Ḵwáan. Fort Simpson, BC is now known as Lax-Kwʼalaams, BC.

Contains 1 day book (802 pages) for the William Kriesel stoves and tinware store (hardware store) from 1895-1896. Daily entries include names and corresponding ledger page numbers for customers, with a description of what they bought, whether they paid for it, the prices and quantities of items bought, and whether customers paid by cash or by eggs, rags, beef, pork, butter, teaming supplies from St. Petersburg to New Dundee, wood, oats, flour, hay, or similar materials.

Kriesel indicates what he has sold by writing "To" and then the items, and how the person paid by writing "By" and then the method of payment, he also writes "cash sale not charged" when the sale does not apply to a customer's account.
