The suffragist, with arms outstretched, is saying: "The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world and it is WE who rock the cradle." In response people in the crowd are saying: "Does your mother know you're out!", "The old man wants you home," and "Go home & mind the baby".

Six photographs and one postcard from Anna Evers, Eschwege, Germany. One is a photograph of the birthplace of Henrietta Charlotte Roth, who married Charles Andrew Ahrens (2 copies). Her daughter Helena married J.M. Schneider. A postcard depicts the town of Eschwege and also included is an Evers family wedding photograph. Two snapshots of the Roth home show the plaque with the date 1835 and the name Carl Roth. Also included is a postcard of Reichensachsen, near Eschwege.

Collection consists of 13 unused postcards concerning suffragettes and women's rights. Included are photographs of Christobel Pankhurst with Emmeline Pethick-Lawrence at a demonstration in Hyde Park, one of a suffragette in prison, a portrait of Emmeline Pankhurst, and Flora Drummond protesting opposite the English House of Common. The remainder are cartoons.

Albums contains photographs and postcards recording a trip to Europe made by Louis Jacob Breithaupt in 1900. Some items have manuscript identifications. One photograph is a photomontage of images of Berlin, Ontario., including an aerial view, industries, homes, etc., as well as an inserted portrait of Louis Jacob. The album begins with images of ships and progresses with images of England, France, Germany, Switzerland, etc.
