The booklets provide an overview of the history of the faculty, departments within the faculty, careers in mathematics, programmes in mathematics at Waterloo, the co-operative mathematics programme, the Mathematics and Computer Building, student information, elective courses, and general information about the history of the University. These booklets were likely distributed to prospective students.

Research materials accumulated by Donald Cowan related to the fig-FOURTH implementation project. Includes a copy of the fig-FORTH installation manual published on May 1, 1979 by the Forth Interest Group (FIG) and a copy of an article titled, "fig-FORTH for 6809, assembly source listing, release 1 with compiler security and variable length names" published in June 1980 by FIG.
