The aims of the Royal Air Forces Ex-P.O.W. Association are; to provide a means of association for men who served in any branch of the Allied Air Forces who became prisoners of war; to help financially or in other ways these men, their wives, widows, descendants or relations either for the relief of poverty or for educational purposes; to promote, maintain, improve and advance education, particularly music education (see activities), and to encourage the arts and; to establish charities and schemes to attain these ends.
