File consists material relating to the proposed capital works programme submitted to Conservation Authorities Branch of the Dept. of Energy and Resources Management June 23, 1964. Includes copies of resolutions passed by member municipalities, correspondence to and from I. Kao and others, ms. notes by I. Kao.

File consists of Brownline Daily Journal for 1962 belonging to H.A. Cameron, working from the Shand Dam station. Daily entries are used to record some climactic information such as snowfall and ice. The diary is primarily used to record details of work done by the writer and others, in the office, on the property and elsewhere : construction, repairs, inspections, incidents, etc. Not all days have entries; information recorded varies.

Series consists of successive Secretary-Treasurer's copies of GRCC minutes and supporting documentation. Files contain in addition to minutes all pertinent correspondence sent and received by the Secretary-Treasurer, some copies of executive minutes, ms. notes and drafts of correspondence and documents. Annual meeting files contain lists of commission members for the year commencing, also correspondence form the various municipalities re attendance, members, etc.

File consists of correspondence to F.P. Adams, Secretary, G.R.C.C. relating to a review of the report done in 1934 by James. L. Morris, Engineer for the Dept. of Lands and Forests, and James Mackintosh of the Ontario Hydro-Electric Engineering staff to allot proprtions of costs for improvements on the Grand River to municipalities. Includes 32 p. ts. original "detailed report on the assessment of municipalities" dated July 31, 1939 forwarded in parts by James Mackintosh.

File consists of material relating to the Grand Valley Conservation authority. Includes correspondence to and from the Authority and the GRCC. Includes an agenda for a meeting of representatives of Conservation authorities and O.C.R.A. to discuss forming an Association of Conservation Authorities, with ms. comments from Wm. Philip to E.F. Roberts opposing such an association. Includes ts. mimeograph list of invitations sent for Nith Valley Tour, Aug. 17, 1949. Includes also an undated ts. mimeograph "Brief on conservation submitted by the Grand Valley Conservation Authority to the Select Committee of the Ontario Legislature appointed to gather information on matters pertaining to conservation."
