Material related to the lives and activities of members of the Augustine and Kaufman families of Kitchener, Ontario and of the Ham family of Toronto, Ontario, in particular of the parents, aunt and grandparents of Mary Ham.

Series consists of film reels and DVD copies of home movies shot by the Guy family. Includes films showing family members and friends participating in various activities both on vacation and at home in Waterloo. Many of the films show 110 John Boulevard and the early development of the Westmount region of Waterloo.

The Lang Tanning Company, Ltd. photograph album.

Series consists of a collection of photographs originally contained in a photograph album created to showcase the activities of The Lang Tanning Company Limited. It tells the story of a three generation manufacturing company and depicts several steps in the leather tanning process. Each photo includes a typed caption indicating what is captured in the corresponding image. Employees, predominantly white men, appear throughout though a small number or photos include white women at work on various stages of leather processing. No employee identifications are included.

Reference Materials

Series contains reference materials including a 1937 edition of the Canadian Labour Press, book lists, ration coupons and scrips from Germany and United States, and a 1925 map of the city of Montreal.

Series consists of photographs taken by members of the Guy family. Includes nineteen slides showing the home at 110 John Boulevard as well as the surrounding area in the winter of 1952.

Diaries belonging to Betty Forbes containing daily journal entries accompanied by photographs, letters, drawings, telegrams, press clippings, and cards. The diaries are primarily written during Betty's time as a student at the School for Nurses at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario and during the early years of her career as a nurse.
