File consists of materials relating to the German newspaper amalgamation by Rittinger and Motz. This relates to the purchase of "The Canadischer Bauernfreund" of Waterloo, the "Canadisches Volksblatt" of New Hamburg and the "Deutsche Zeitung" or Berlin by Ritting and Motz, who already owned "Ontario Glocke" of Walkerton and the "Canadischer Kolonist" of Stratford. With these purchases, Rittinger and Motz now controlled all German Newspapers in Western Ontario. File includes notices and correspondence regarding advertising rates.

Collection consists of 13 unused postcards concerning suffragettes and women's rights. Included are photographs of Christobel Pankhurst with Emmeline Pethick-Lawrence at a demonstration in Hyde Park, one of a suffragette in prison, a portrait of Emmeline Pankhurst, and Flora Drummond protesting opposite the English House of Common. The remainder are cartoons.

File consists of an untitled ms. volume containing minutes of the annual and general meetings starting with the first organizational meeting of Feb. 19, 1894. This was considered the 1st annual meeting. Annual meeting minutes are present for the years 1894, 1895, 1896, [1897], 1898, [1899], [1900],1901, 1902, 1903, 1904, 1905, 1906, 1907, 1908, 1909, 1910.

Other minutes: Regatta Committee, 1894, Cottagers' Committee, 1896, as well as two leaves containing a list of prizes (medallions, etc.) with prices.

The transactions consist of deeds and mortgages dated 1901-1910, with an index, relating primarily to parcels of land in Berlin [i.e. Kitchener], Ontario.

A note attached to the back of the photograph indicated that the photograph is of Olive Irene Moyer and 2 cousins taken approximately in 1910 in Berlin (Kitchener), Ontario. However, it is likely that the three girls in the photograph are sisters rather than cousins.

Olive Irene Moyer had two sisters named Nora and Ella. Their father's name was Aaron E. Shantz. This historical information aligns closely with the notes inscribed on the recto of the photograph.

A paper-wrapped bundle labelled "Arthur's Pictures" that contains pictures cut from magazines and illustrated papers and pages from small books or agricultural, travel, tourist publications. These include at least one Year Book of British Columbia, a publication entitled, The Agricultural and Industrial Resources of Vancouver Island, British Columbia published in 1905, and many clippings from the Weekly Globe and Canada Farmer. These feature mostly scenery in Canadian locations, as well as New Zealand, and include farming, road building, summer pastimes (Muskoka), portraits, residences (Victoria and Toronto), winter sports, portraits, and more.
