Acres & Company, Limited, Niagara Falls, Ont. for the Grand River Conservation Commission regarding design and testing of a model sluiceway for the Conestogo Dam, near Glen Allan, Ont. undertaken in 1953. Includes blueline drawings of the general arrangement of spillway, dam model, and stilling basin, prepared by H.G. Acres and Company in November, 1953, and photographs of the sluiceway model. Correspondence between the Grand River Conservation Commission and the Ontario Department of Planning and Development is inserted.

Includes completed form of tender, technical description, blueprints of sluice gates, blueline schematic wiring diagram and 5 photographs of samples of gates supplied by Fried, Krupp, Germany, the parent company of Ardelt Industries.
Inserted are the following : cover letter and additional correspondence from Ardelt Industries to the Grand Valley Conservation Authority and correspondence from R.K. Kilborn & Associates, Toronto, Ont. to the Grand River Conservation Authority.
