File consists of an album compiled by Ella Anthes Cook, and including some additions probably by Martha Rieder. Includes snapshots of family members and friends and snapshots taken on Ella's trip to Europe, around Ontario, at Felsheim, and on her honeymoon. Includes a family photograph taken at Talmon Henry Rieder's 40th birthday, a snapshot taken when Earl Grey visited Berlin, a snapshot taken at the unveiling of Queen Victoria's monument at Victoria Park, and a photograph by Denton of the interior of Zion Evangelical Church.

Anthes Manufacturing Company : factory.

Dominion Tire Company factory album.

Album containing photographs of the construction of the Dominion Tire Company manufacturing plant in what was then Berlin, Ontario. Includes photographs of the construction process, the surrounding land, the interior and exterior of the building during construction, equipment used the tire manufacturing process and employees on the factory floor, etc. Although the majority of the people are unidentified the following people appear in the album: Talmon Henry Rieder (page 1), [Ed Cable?] and Irene Bain (page 3), Dr. Wood (page 6), and J.I. Franklin Anthes (page 9 and 53).

Kitchener Natatorium.

File consists of three photographs of the Kitchener Natatorium and its locker rooms. Talmon Henry Rieder played a role in the construction of the natatorium, which opened July 21, 1917 at at 121 King Street West in the Rieder Block.

Plans.

File consists of four plans. Includes two plans by N.J. Goebel entitled "City of Berlin," and two copies of a plan entitled "Canada Furniture Manufacturer's Limited, Berlin, Ont., Simpson Factory and Gaukel Street Properties."

Rieder, Martha family.

File consists of miscellaneous snapshots, most of which were probably accumulated by Martha Rieder. Includes snapshots of Martha Rieder, her children, and grandchildren, as well as other family members and friends. Talmon Henry Rieder is present in some snapshots. Many photographs include members of the families of John C. and Carrie Breithaupt, Albert and Louisa Breithaupt, and H. Milton and Ella Anthes Cook; Alma and Eva Rieder are also present in some photographs.

Photographs were taken at Penetanguishene, Georgian Bay, on Lake Huron, Port Dalhousie and other travel destinations; at various cottages; at the Rieder home at 58 Roy Street in Kitchener; and other locations. File also includes a colour print-out of a photograph Margaret Paisley [?] and an unidentified woman.

Westmount prospectus.

File consists of material relating to the Westmount development in Waterloo. Includes a prospectus (Realty Pointers: Westmount, "The Development Beautiful") prepared by Beck & Eisenbach (Berlin, ON) containing a plan of Westmount; and a photograph of a topographical landscape painting showing Berlin, Waterloo, and Westmount, prepared by Gibson Catlett, Real Estate Landscape Paintings (Calgary, AB). The plan in the prospectus contains manuscript annotations.
