Consists of ts. materials relating to a Field Officers' conference organized by the Ontario Department of Planning and Development, Conservation Branch, held in Toronto, Ont., February 15, 17, 1954. Includes agenda, background documentation including copies of legislation, and papers presented at the conference. The binder belonged to Mac Coutts, Field Officer of the Grand Valley Conservation Authority, who presented a paper at the conference.

Consists of a ts. report prepared by Margaret Killing for the [Grand River Conservation Authority] Information and Education Advisory Board. The report provides an outline for a pilot project for using a van as a mobile nature, resource and exhibit centre.

Consists of a ts. student report prepared for a [University of Waterloo?] environmental studies class. The report recounts Aikenhead's experience as a summer employee at the Grand River Conservation Authority and describes the implementation of a public outdoor education and recreation programme.

Consists of 1 volume of ts.worksheets prepared by the Grand River Conservation Authority for the identification of birds and trees, measurement of streamflow, and forecasting of weather. The worksheets are indexed and appears to have been designed for distribution to students or other users of GRCA Field Center.

Consists of ts.(photocopy) contract documents prepared by the Grand River Conservation Authority for tenderers regarding the construction of an information and nature centre in the Taquanyah Conservation Area near Cayuga, Ont. Includes instructions to tenderers, blank forms of tender, and specifications.

Consists of a binder containing ts.(photocopy) proceedings of public participation meetings held at Kitchener, Cambridge, Elora and Brantford, Ontario, during May, 1977. The proceedings concern environmental assessment of water control structures on the Grand River. Also includes briefs submitted by individuals and organizations involving environmental issues related to water control structures on the Grand.

Consists of a binder containing materials relating to the operation and maintenance of water control structures employed in the Grand River Conservation Authority flood control and low flow augmentation systems. The binder is divided into the following sections :

• Work Programs, which includes photocopies of correspondence and budget statements regarding water control structures; Inspections, including reports and invoices for water control structure inspections for 1967;
• Regulations including instructions from the Ontario Department of Energy and Resources Management; and
• Reports, including photocopies of correspondence and reports on flood warning systems and water control structure maintenance.

Consists of ts.(photocopy) report on estimated flood damages in the Grand River Watershed, based on the occurrence of a storm of the magnitude of Hurricane Hazel. Includes background and information on existing and proposed flood control measures on the Grand River Watershed.

Consists of a binder of ts.(photocopy) materials relating to flood damage evaluation and control which is both generic and specific to the the Grand River Basin. Includes copies of reports on floodline mapping and water control structures commissioned by the GRCA, Province of Ontario studies of flood plain management, and GRCA reports on flood damages on the Grand River Watershed.

Consists of a ts. report which concerns estimation of flood damages Galt, Ontario prepared by D. McLean for Ilmar Kao, Director of Operations, Grand River Conservation Authority. The purpose of the report was to determine the feasibility of a model of analysis for application in Galt and other cities subject to flooding. Includes blueline map of downtown Galt, Ont. Ats. estimate of direct industrial damages is inserted.

Consists of ts.(photocopy) reference manual concerning fill line information within the Grand River Watershed prepared by Chris Hart, Policy and Planning Division, Grand River Conservation Authority for distribution to users. The manual is divided into 17 sections which include the Grand River and various tributaries. Includes blackline maps.

Consists of a binder containing ts. reports prepared by Triton Engineering Services Limited, Consulting Engineers and Planners, Orangeville, Ont. for the Grand River Conservation Authority Floodline Mapping and Flood Control Study on the upper Grand River. The reports include :

• Phase 2 : Hydraulics, Grand River : Belwood to Black Creek, August, 1976; and
