The promotion involved the give-away of seven Ford Pinto station wagons, the distribution of over 3 million coupons, in-store displays of Dare cookies and the placement of point of purchase advertising material throughout Ontario. The promotion was likely launched to encourage certain supermarket chains to relist Dare products following the strike in 1972.
