Contains correspondence, handwritten notes, the September issue of the Wellington County Historical Society's newsletter, an information leaflet on this society and a photocopy of a map. All these materials relate to Nancy-Lou Patterson's address (Sept. 20, 1998) on the former McWilliams' residence on Drayton's main street, a heritage home, where several historical oil paintings were discovered in the mid-1980's. This event was sponsored by the Wellington County Historical Society in conjunction with the Women's Institute.

Additionally contains 37 col. snapshots and 28 col. negatives depicting these sanctuary banners.

The September 1995 issue of the Highland Baptist Church's newsletter is also among the items in this file, in addition to the November 1995 issue of The Canadian Baptist which features an article on the centennial banners designed by Nancy-Lou Patterson (pp. 8-9).

Finally, this file contains a publication entitled Highland Baptist Church: The First 100 Years. The cover illustration features the centennial banners designed by Nancy-Lou Patterson and this publication also contains information about the unveiling and dedication of these banners (pp. 21, 33).

A copy of the Randburg Baptist Church's newsletter from March 1997, as well as a booklet relating to the Church's 1997 AGM, are also among the items included in this folder. Colour charts, sketches and graphs of the banner are also contained in this file as well as 21 col. snapshots.

Contains correspondence, ephemera, handwritten notes, and clippings re an exhibition held at the Homer Watson Gallery, curated in part by Nancy-Lou Patterson, and entitled "A Love for the Land". Also includes handwritten and original typed versions of biographical note about Nancy-Lou Patterson, in addition to some photocopied handwritten and typed information sheets on exhibit pieces submitted by the participating artists themselves.

Other items contained in this file include draft manuscript and draft tss. (original and photocopied, some with holograph corrections) and final version of the guide produced for this exhibition. A calendar from the Harbinger Gallery and an information package relating to an exhibition entitled "The Power of Place" at the Legislative Building at Queen's Park in Toronto, Ont. are also contained in this folder.

This file also contains correspondence, an original typed biographical note, handwritten notes, and 14 p. photocopied typescript of an excerpt from Part III of Cloister Death, an unpublished novel by Nancy-Lou Patterson.

Untitled folder containing drafts (both handwritten and typed) of a letter sent by Nancy Lou Patterson to Sandra Woolfrey of Wilfrid Laurier University Press in 1998. This letter accompanied the finished manuscript of The Tramp Room, which has been "extensively revised in light of the readers' reports".

Contains handwritten drafts and notes, and tss. (some with corrections) of two articles (includes originals, photocopies, and final computer output versions) written by Nancy-Lou Patterson. The first article is entitled "Joseph Arthur Greeves (1895-1966)", while the second is entitled "They Stand Together: The Letters of C.S. Lewis to Arthur Greeves (1914-1963), Edited by Walter Hooper (London: Collins, 1979)". These articles appeared in The C.S. Lewis Companion which was published by HarperCollins to mark the 100th anniversary of Lewis's birth.

Also includes typed biographical note about Nancy-Lou Patterson. Additionally contains correspondence relating to the submission of publications to The C.S. Lewis Companion, as well as a work-for-hire contract between Nancy-Lou Patterson and D. Schultz & Co. of Colorado Springs, Colorado, in addition to guidelines for contributors, and a sample entry for contributors.

It relates to a request by Ms. von Baeyer and Pleasance Crawford that they be granted permission to reprint Nancy-Lou's article "Mennonite Gardens", which appeared in the Canadian Antiques and Art Review in June 1980, in their book Garden Voices.

Also contained in this file are handwritten and typed (computer output) documents including the preferred credit line of Nancy-Lou Patterson for the copyright page of the book Garden Voices, and a bibliographic note about the author.
