Consists of ts.(photocopy) background documentation and statistical materials which appear to have accompanied a tour of Grand River Conservation Commission sites, conducted on July 10, 1963. The materials include a map which shows reservoirs and member municipalities of the Grand River Conservation Commission.

Consists of a ts.brief prepared by the Grand River Conservation Commission to demonstrate to federal and provincial authorities the need for proposed multi-purpose reservoirs and other control work the Grand River Watershed.

Includes four blackline maps of proposed reservoir catchment areas in Ayr and West Montrose, Ont. and flood stage maps of the cities of Brantford, Paris and Galt, Ont., prepared by J.M. Tomlinson & Associates Ltd, Consulting Engineers, January, 1964. Also present are photographs of floodwaters in the Grand River Watershed at Brantford, Galt and Paris, March 20-22,1948.

Consists of 1 volume ts.(carbon copy) report prepared by H.G. Acres, Chief Engineer, [H.G. Acres & Company Limited?] for the Grand River Conservation Commission concerning the investigation of dam sites on the upper Grand River. Includes a cover letter from H.G. Acres to F.P. Adams, Secretary-Treasurer of the Grand River Conservation, February 15, 1939.

Also present are blackline maps of the Grand River Valley and Luther Marsh Area, and blackline plans of Shand, Belwood and Pilkington Dam Sites. Also contains photographs of [core samples?] from the Shand, Belwood and Pilkington sites. A blueline drawing of the Conestogo Dam Foundation , No. 5, 1954 by H. Barnett, H.G. & Acres Co., Ltd., is inserted.
