Consists of ts. (original and photocopy) correspondence to and from the Grand River Conservation Authority, including letters received from provincial and muncipal governments, concerning flood emergency management planning and procedures. Also contains ts. (photocopy) lists of emergency contact personnel, and ms. operating schedules for the Shand, Conestogo and Guelph dams during the spring freshet period, March, 1978, including graphs and charts.

Consists of a videocassette of 8 mm film footage of various phases of the construction of the Shand Dam and Lake Belwood, near Belwood, Ont. The footage was taken by Hugh Templin, a commissioner of the Grand River Conservation Commission and editor of the Fergus News Record.

Consists of a videocassette transfer of 8 mm. film footage of the construction of the Shand Dam, near Belwood, Ont and of the disembarking of HRH George VI and Queen Elizabeth, from the royal train at Guelph, Ont. in 1939. The film was made by Ron Muller.

Consists of videocassette transfer of a 16 mm movie of skiers at the Chicopee Ski Club, Kitchener, Ontario in the 1940s. According to information provided on the original GRCA box listing, the film was made by Norman Schneider and narration was added later by Herb Schneider, and Ralph Beaumont and Jim Bauer; of the Grand River Conservation Authority.

Also appears to include scenes from the opening ceremony of the Shand Dam. The film was made by Hugh Templin, GRCA Commissioner and editor of the Fergus News Record, Fergus, Ont.

Guelph dam site : topographical map and articles.

Consists of a topographical map produced by the Geographical Section, Department of National Defence in 1939. The map has been annotated to show the Guelph and Eramosa damsites. The annotations may have been made at the design phase of the Guelph dam ca. 1971. Includes a reprint and mockup of an article titled, "Guelph Dam and Reservoir, Ontario," The Canadian Architect, (June, 1977), and an article titled "Guelph Micro-Hydro System," Your Valley (Spring, 1983).
