File consists of contains 34 snapshots. Some identifications are present. Includes images of Breithaupt gatherings, room interiors, portrait proofs of Albert Liborious Breithaupt, one snapshot of Catharine Breithaupt holding a string of fish.
Also includes four snapshots of the 1901 visit of the Duke and Duchess of York, later King George V and Queen Mary. These were taken from the top of a streetcar: crowd in foreground, reception platform in middle ground, train behind.

Also includes one image of a large group of schoolgirls on a playing field, demonstrating physical training and surrounded by onlookers, Victoria School in the background. This is identified as Victoria Park, dated 1913.

A third unmounted photograph is possibly William Lyon Mackenzie King posed outside, with an unidentified building [University of Toronto?] behind.

Fonds consists of 28 items of correspondence predominantly written during 1893 to David Shannon Bowlby from his family in Berlin (Kitchener), Ontario while Bowlby was a student at the University of Toronto. Most of the letters are casual in nature providing updates about happenings in Berlin, including church sermons and social engagements.

The majority of the letters are authored by Bowlby's mother Martha Esther, with additional letters from friends, including Albert Liborius Breithaupt, and family, including father David Sovereign. Also in the file is one letter from Bowlby on personalized letterhead.

File consists of the pocket diary of Talmon Henry Rieder for the year 1901. Kept predominantly in ink, the entries frequently includes brief comments about the weather and his mood, and often includes cash account notes at the end of diary pages. No entries were logged between January 10, 1901 and April 6, 1901.

The identification page near the front of the diary partially filled out by Rieder indicates he was 24 years, with a dark complexion and weighed 134 pounds. Also included are entries regarding the sizes of his shoes, collar, cuffs, hat, shirt, gloves and underwear.

Topics of note are his burgeoning relationship with Martha Anthes, frustrations with Albert Liborius Breithaupt, business dealings with a variety of contacts including the Kaufmans, and his activities with the church-based Young People's Alliance.

File consists of material relating to activities of A.L. Breithaupt in his position as Chairman of the Berlin Light Commission. In 1909 he was called on by W.S. Dingman, Mayor of Stratford, to present information about the Berlin electric plant and street railway during a dispute over the proposed purchase of an electric plant for Stratford. Includes a letter from W.S. Dingman to A.L. Breithaupt, A.L.B.'s notes, typescript carbon notes and financial statements of the Berlin Light Commission and of the Berlin and Waterloo Street Railway, and clippings concerning the arbitration.
