File consists of three maps of the Grand River watershed, collected by Hynes in the process of his research. One map shows Grand River Conservation Authority forest areas; one shows small reservoirs, impoundments and channel work; and one shows a plan of flood control and water conservation.

Canadian Consolidated Rubber Co. Limited Dominion Tire Factory & Rubber Machinery Shops Kitchener, Ont.

File consists of one fire insurance plan from the Plan Department of Associated Mutual Insurance Company, Boston, showing Dominion Tire and Rubber Machinery Shops. Map was surveyed and drawn by F.A. Lougee on October 9, 1923 and traced by W.G. Harlow. The map shows 3D renderings of the buildings on the property along with descriptions of each building.

File consists of one fire insurance plan of Dominion Rubber Company Ltd. Dominion Tire Factory and Rubber Machinery Shop. Plan was originally surveyed by Johnson and Higgins, N.Y. June 18, 1926 and was revised September 25, 1930. Plan also includes architectural details about the buildings.

File consists of maps of the Muskoka region. Includes maps of Lake Muskoka, Lake Rosseau, and Lake Joseph by the Canadian Hydrographic Service, Department of the Environment, Ottawa; the road system in the District Municipality of Muskoka by A.R. Ferguson, Gravenhurst; and 6 blueline prints of topographical maps of the Humphrey, Medora, Wood, Muskoka, Monck, and Watt townships in Muskoka by the Ontario Forestry Branch, Perry Sound (1933-1942). Material probably collected by Michael Vaughan.

A hand drawn map of Orville, Ontario and the general vicinity. The map shows roads and lakes and marks out the location of a camp ground to the east of Sugar Lake. Around the border of the map are drawings of four figures: Bill, Frank, Bert, and a rube.

Pollution reports (file 1 of 2).

File consists of material relating to the pollution of rivers in England and Wales, and mainly includes reports on biological surveys of rivers by Hynes and other researchers. Also present are some ms. field notes (summaries), maps, correspondence, a graph relating to the toxicity of DDT, a photograph of smelt specimen, and tables of data relating to a Kenyan rivers. Rivers and other bodies of water surveyed are: River Lea (or Lee) (1952-1954); River Dee (1938-1939, 1948-1950, 1955-1958); River Penk and tributaries (1956-1960); Great Ouse (1955-1959); River Flit (1958); Rivers Ouzel and Flit (1958); River Kent (1960-1961); Peakshole Water, Bradwell Brook, and River Noe (1955), Chard Reservoir (1952), and streams flowing into Rostherne Mere (1964).

The surveys were conducted at the request of various local government departments and committees, river boards, and chemical and paper companies.

Contains Candy Division documents pertaining to Candy Division buildings and property in both Hamilton and Toronto. File includes correspondence, memoranda, plans and copies of plans, the Agreement of Purchase and Sale for properties in Hamilton, an advertisement for an opportunity to sublet a building in Toronto, and maps.

Three maps showing the locations of Axis prisoner of war camps in Germany, Italy and adjacent countries during the Second World War. The maps were possibly accumulated by Cameron Hill's parents, Britton and Grace Hill, while Cameron was held in custody as a prisoner of war.

File consists of material relating to travelling and sightseeing, probably collected by Carl A. Pollock. Includes road maps and tourist maps, leaflets and booklets from tourist attractions, and typed and ms. notes. Maps are for Kitchener, Ontario, various American states and cities, and Stuttgart, Germany.

File consists of a map of Kitchener-Waterloo depicting dates and types of aerial photography that had been mapped, and a study plan of parking facilities on Lancaster and Arnold streets in Kitchener. Both items prepared by the City of Kitchener, planning department.

File consists of material relating to the property and camp at Port Carling owned by the Ontario conference of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, known as Canadian Keswick Conference, the rezoning of the lands, and the development of a resort there. Includes correspondence, memoranda, newspaper clippings, photocopied agreements, photocopied Ontario Municipal Board decisions, reports, handwritten notes, etc.
