Schneider, Norman C. : Videocassettes.

Series consists of transfers to mini digital videocassette masters of films taken by Norman C. Schneider documenting his family life and interests, as well as further transfers from these to VHS videocassettes. Also includes films by F.H. Schneider. Two VHS videocassettes are original transfers from film without a mini digital videocassette master. Subjects : Norman C. Schneider's travels in Europe in the 1930's, including the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. Also includes footage of the 1939 Royal Visit to Kitchener, Ont., skating and other activities in Victoria Park, Kitchener, family birthdays and vacations, Chicopee Ski Club, and other ski resorts.

Includes shots of Herbert and Howard proudly showing their catches to the camera, views of the lake and sandy beach, the group cleaning fish along a rocky shoreline, and the cabin where they stayed.

Canister includes handwritten notes about film that read: "Herb Fred on top of cabin of boat in Lake Nipissing, Hyalie MacDonald, [illegible], Howie, [illegible] lunch + cleaning fish + cabin in woods, sandy beach".

One manuscript (original) by Norman C. Schneider. Consists of a story about sausage-maker William Rohleder who cashed a J.M. Schneider cheque at a bank in Berlin in 1928. Includes a brief account of Ivan W. Keffer, and his position as head of the F.W. Woolworth stores in Germany.
