White defective segregationists threaten civilization.

Publication released by the American Eugenics Party on the dangers of white defectives. In other AEP publications, white defectives are defined as white people who are pro desegregation, but this publication takes pains to point out that there are many other white defectives who are segregationists. These white defectives have other negative traits such as having too many children, being involved in crime, responsibility for wars, and also for the downfall of past civilizations. Those who vote liberal are also likely to be white defectives who want handouts, but are "too mentally deficient to realize that those who promise handouts are also aiding the domestic and foreign enemies". The publication also discusses signs of decline in societies and examples of fallen societies and how they fell and how to prevent decline. The EAP believes that propaganda and voting are not sufficient tools to keep a society from declining, as most people are too mentally deficient to understand who to vote for.

American Eugenics Party

Undemocratic Supreme Court.

Publication by the American Eugenics Party on the problems with the United States Supreme Court. The main complaint is that Supreme Court Justices should not be appointed for life by a partisan politician. The AEP is opposed to democracy where "unqualified people" have elective powers, and feel that only "positive experts" should be able to make political decisions.

American Eugenics Party

The ugliest race.

Publication from the American Eugenics Party on the eugenics based "scientific information" on what race is the ugliest. The publication's first point is that there has been a degeneration of standards in society when it comes to beauty. The three reasons given are that beauty has been defined as a function and all ugliness is labelled as beautiful, that distortion and unreality has been considered beautiful, and that clichés such as "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" are used. The AEP posits that there are universal eugenic standards and that those who possess "a normal sensory mechanism" can determine beauty from ugliness. Normal sensory mechanisms have definite limitations and the preference is for balance, which equates to beauty.

The basic eugenic program is designed to "promote and preserve universal beauty standards" and those standards show that Caucasians are the superior race in terms of beauty, whereas "Negros" are the inferior race in terms of beauty. The AEP justification for this is that there are over 200 differences in appearance between Caucasians and "Negros" and that in all cases the Caucasian appearance is superior. One of the key factors in determining which features are better seems to be an idea of middle ground, or balance. For instance, a grading scale shows Caucasians in the middle in terms of skin colour with "Negros" on one end and "Albinos" on the other - both of which are considered deficient as they are on the extremes of the spectrum.

The publication devotes sections to skin colour, facial features, head shape, hair type, skin structure, and body type. In each section, examples are given as to why Caucasian features are superior, such as: Black people's skin colour makes teeth and eyes appear too white, Black is a depressing colour and spiritually is a sign of evil, larger lips and noses mean that the facial features are not in balance, the cephalic index is off, that "Negro hair" is wool like and therefore closer to animals, that "Negro skin" is too smooth and therefore gives the appearance of being slimy, and that "Negro" buttocks are larger so that they can serve as storage tanks for water.

The conclusion is that the "Negro race" appearance violates the "Universal Beauty Law" (not too predominant or too subdued for the value assigned to the parts of a whole). The publication goes on to discuss other negatives of the "Negro race" such as lack of having built civilizations, deficiency in reasoning, prominence of sickle cell, an unpleasant voice, body weaknesses, and body odour.

American Eugenics Party

Spectrum of political platforms.

Publication from the American Eugenics Party on where other people parties stand on a series of spectrums. The three spectrums are race outlook, economic outlook, and religious outlook. The AEP is identified as being in the middle of all three spectrums, indicating that they are the most balanced party. Other parties or political identities identified include: anarchist, communist, socialist, liberal, democrat, republican, conservative, anti-Negro, anti-Oriental, National States Rights Party, the KKK, American Nazi Party, Nordicism, Odinism, and Swede supremacy.

American Eugenics Party

Role of women in society.

Publication from the American Eugenics Party on their stance on the role of women in society. The AEP belief is that women are "deviating from their proper role in society" and that the demands of feminism were more than necessary to correct any injustices imposed on women. The AEP proposes that women are not the same or the opposite of men, but that similarities, opposites and compliments exist. The AEP believes that women being given the vote has directly lead to the downfall of society towards socialism. Women are also unable to do "inventive research" and can only do "discovery research" that helps men. Women are also more materially orientated, passive, trusting, and more sympathetic for the weak. The AEP does not believe in women having the right to vote, or occupy leadership positions in society. Instead, the AEP says that women have a role in society, but one that suits their abilities. The AEP uses what they consider to be scientific evidence to back up their points. Some of the scientific evidence includes that women have smaller brains, that women only do well on IQ tests when the questions are geared toward their strengths (such as social questions), that women don't received as many advanced degrees, that most women who work are clerical workers, that all major inventions have been by men, that dysgenics has increased since women were given the vote, that the first women's political party was formed to help free enslaved people, that most interracial marriages are a white woman and a Black man, that women are more similar to animals, and that there are sex-linked characteristics. The AEP also offers reasons as to why it is detrimental to women that they are no longer in traditional roles. These include: women have increased mental health illness and suicidal attempts, women cause traffic accidents, women are too suggestible, and that women not being in traditional roles increases "family disharmony".

American Eugenics Party

Nordic supremacy myth.

Publication released by the American Eugenics Party on the "Nordic supremacy myth" - that Caucasians of Nordic descent (Swedes, Norwegians, Danes, Germans) are superior to Caucasians of non-Nordic descent (Greeks, Italians, Jews, Polish). The AEP's belief was that all Caucasians were together superior to non-Caucasians, and that Nordicists were working against the white cause by dividing Caucasian peoples. The publication uses statistics and cites other publications showing that Nordics did no better on tests, etc than other non-Nordic Caucasians. They also disagree with Nordicisms emphasis on religion, and anti-Semitism. The EAP advocates for a "New Eugenic Era" that is founded on so-called scientific evidence on races, of speculation, mysticism and error. The EAP states that they advocate for Caucasian supremacy, not Nordic supremacy.

American Eugenics Party

Intelligent Americans.

Handbill released by the American Eugenics Party seeking donations to help further the causes of the party. The handbill is addressed to "intelligent Americans" and outlines the supposed dangers of the "Negro crime rate", lack of population control in "undesirable populations", and "Orientals" having access to nuclear weapons. The handbill also criticizes the current government of the United States and other racist organizations for not being concerned about the correct issues. They refer to non-Eugenics racist organizations as "unscientific racists" who do not understand the real dangers that "non-whites" and white defectives are doing to society. The handbill also criticizes other racist organizations for focusing on anti-Semitism and Nordicism, whereas the AEP aimed to unite everyone they deemed as being Caucasians. The handbill ends with a plea for funds and an advertisement to purchase AEP literature.

American Eugenics Party

Correspondence to the National States Rights Party.

Copy of an item of correspondence to the National States Right Party (NSRP) from the American Eugenics Party (AEP). The correspondence was published and distributed by the AEP. The letter is in response to an article in the publication "the thunderbolt" on the Arab-Israeli conflict. In spite of their other prejudices, the AEP was not anti-Semitic and was attempting to sway the NSRP to rethink their stance on Jews for the sake of racial unity. The AEP attempts to make the case that "Arabs" (or Arabic countries in the Middle East) are socialist, and more left wing than Israel. There is also mention made as to whether Arabic people can be considered Caucasian, although it is noted that Jewish people are. The second point of the AEP is an argument that Soviet states to do not support Israel as not all Jewish populations are in unity. There is some distinction here made between supporting Jewish people vs supporting Zionism. The last point accuses the NSRP of distorting facts relating to the mental health of Jewish people. The AEP states that Jewish people are less likely to have mental health illnesses and that the NSRP left out information regarding the prevalence of Tay-Sachs among Jewish people.
