An interesting point made by the author is that homes that lack parlous drive teenage couples to engage with one another in "dark nooks" and that the real estate industry is "exploiting[ing] the great American Home for the sake of their own revenue at the cost of civic health." There are also many references to ideas of 'purity' that advocate for eugenics.

"Sex facts for young men" by S. Dana Hubbard. This publication covers venereal diseases, how to attain "vigorous manhood" through healthy habits, how reproduction and reproductive organs work, and medical concerns such as undescended testicles.

Topics covered include health tips, the importance of chastity, diagrams of the male genito-urinary system with notes on where STIs cause symptoms, reproductive practices of plant and animal life, sex hygiene including masturbation, an emphasis on the normalcy of nocturnal sexual emissions, and a glossary of slang terms.

"Sex facts for young boys" by S. Dana Hubbard. This publication covers famous American men and how to be like them, clearing up misinformation about sex, how to protect the honour of girls, and willpower and physical fitness.

Topics covered include how to comport oneself, the importance of health and fitness, the value of keeping a diary, the four lies of sex which include: that sexual indulgence is necessary for the preservation of health; that Gonorrhea is no worse than a cold; that night emissions are dangerous and lead to debility, lost manhood, and to insanity; the double standard of morality - that men must exercise their sexual organs to have health and that women should not do so.

"Sex facts for the adolescent and matured woman" by S. Dana Hubbard. The introduction indicates that the book is compiled of facts from federal, state and municipal public health officials and is intended to help prevent venereal diseases. Some of the topics include education on STIs, women's health and sexual education, hygiene, and what girls need to know when entering adulthood.

The publication includes a diagram of the uterus, ovaries and vagina indicating where inflammation can happen due to STI, how to act during menstruation, beauty and popularity, health tips, how to dress, and how to avoid 'white slavery'.

One envelope in which the seven "sex facts" publications were housed. The entire envelope cost $1. The envelope lists the credentials of Dr. Hubbard, which publications are included, and the intended use of the publications.

A collection of seven "sex facts" publications, written by Dr. S. Dana Hubbard of New York. The publications were sold together, and the advertised objective was to "preserve the health and prevent disease" by providing medical information on venereal disease, medical quackery, white slavery, and more in a way that was objective and easy to understand. The publications weer intended to be accessible to any audience, regardless or sex or age, and could also be used by nurses, educators, and welfare workers. A note in the back of the publication states that they are looking for others to sell the books on their behalf, on commission.

Dr. Hubbard also produced a movie titled "some wild oats" which is advertised in the publications and seems to give similar information to Dr. Hubbard's published works. The film was released in 1919 and the showings would include a lecture.

On the publications, Dr. Hubbard is identified as "attending dermatologist to the New York City Children's Hospital, dermatologist Letchworth Village, Director Bureau Public Health Education, New York City Department of Health".

"Facts about motherhood" by S. Dana Hubbard. This publication gives information on prenatal care and care of the mother during pregnancy, as well as care for newborns. It addresses topics such as breastfeeding v bottle feeding, pregnancy complications, how to prepare for a new baby, and a list of articles for further information. Much of the work is devoted to clearing up myths and misconceptions about pregnancy and childbirth and ensuring that pregnant people have accurate, scientifically based information.

"Facts about marriage every young man & woman should know" by S. Dana Hubbard. This publication outlines advice to young people on how to select a partner, sex after marriage, being a good spouse, and how parents can instruct children in education about puberty and sexual topics.
