        Thomas "Tom" M. Eadie is a Canadian librarian and poet. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1941, Eadie obtained a B.A. (1968) and M.A. (1971) from Queen's University, where he served as editor of Quarry leading its transformation as a student publication to a literary magazine. In 197s Eadie completed an MLIS at the University of Western Ontario going on to hold positions at the University of British Columbia, the University of Waterloo and Mount Allison University, where he served as University Librarian. Eadie was awarded the Ontario Arts Council Award for Poetry in 1977.
