In 1978, a new company newsletter, Greb Footnotes, was launched. Series may not include a complete run of any one publication, and some issues may be missing.

Series consists of material relating to the public relations activities of Greb Industries Limited, and in particular to the Greb Hiking Bureau, a project organized by Greb Shoes to promote recreational hiking in Canada, but also includes material relating to the Oktoberfest road races, sponsored by the company. Includes pamphlets, reports, news releases, and other material.

File consists of a photostat copy of a letter to Charles E. Greb from barristers Pitblado, Hoskin, & Co. (Winnipeg, MB) regarding the purchase price paid by Greb Industries for the assests of the Canada West Shoe Manufacturing Company Limited and Calumet Shoe Company Limited.

Ratchford drawings and board table : correspondence.

File consists of correspondence between Charles E. Greb and John Simth (general manager, Greb Kitchener Operations) regarding four original pictures by local artist Douglas Ratchford (gifts to Harry Greb in the 1970s) kept at Greb's Kitchener location, and the board room table and chairs belonging to Charles E. Greb.

File consists of a ledger (photocopy) kept by Charles Greb from 1884 to 1933, and material (photocopied) relating to Greb's hardware and hotel businesses in Zurich, Ontario where he lived before moving to Berlin (now Kitchener) in 1909. Includes a receipt to Greb from Charles Hartleib for the stock of the hardware store in Zurich, a press clipping about the history of the store, ms. notes, statements from the Waterloo Bond Corporation, and ts. notes by Charles E. Greb about the ledger.

These notes indicate that the ledger records transactions relating to the hardware store or the Huron Hotel (1884-1904); judgements made by Greb as a Justice of the Peace for Huron County (1906-1908); and transactions from building renovations, investments, loans, etc. (1909-1933).
