Records include an information sheet containing details about Ashely Smith’s case as well as a list of questions for Stockwell Day, then Member of Parliament and Minister of Public Safety, and Rob Nicholson, then Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada. The questions focus on Ashley Smith and the conditions of her confinement and death as well as the Canadian prison system. Additionally, the file includes a report containing copies of news articles from media outlets across Canada related to Ashley Smith. It is not known how or why Andrew Telegdi acquired these records.
