Also includes one report relating to activities of the Tokyo Young Women's Christian Association (Y.W.C.A.) by Emma Kaufman and a report by Margaret Hockin on the ceremonies relating to the 25th anniversary of Emma Kaufman's arrival in Japan. Additionally contains a leaflet memorializing Hedwig Dora Hobrecker, a pamphlet on the Airindan Settlement in Nippori, Arakawa Ku, Tokyo, Japan and an annual report of the Tokyo Y.W.C.A. for 1938.

Four pieces of personal correspondence one written to Emma Kaufman, and three written by Emma Kaufman. These three letters are written to friends in Japan and are dated Dec. 4, 5 and 7 respectively, and describe her efforts to gather material to send back with a Japanese friend on the Dec. 14th sailing of a ship from Los Angeles to Japan.

Accrual consists of materials created and accumulated by Alice Riggs Hunt and her family. Includes correspondence to and from Alice, locks of hair, and photographs. The photographs document other members of the Hunt family including her mother Mary Osgood Riggs Hunt (1860-1953) and her brother Charles Warren Hunt Jr. (1888-1953). Also present are over 500 slides documenting Charles Warren Hunt Jr.'s trip around the world.

Also contains correspondence including an open letter to Prime Minister Stephen Harper on the Middle East conflict written by Telegdi.

Material created or accumulated by Andrew Telegdi during his tenure as a Member of Parliament related to the Canadian Parliamentary Delegation's visit to the Republic of China (Taiwan) between March 31 and April 7, 1996. Telegdi and his wife, Nancy Curtin-Telegdi, travelled to the Republic of China (Taiwan) as part of this delegation. Records include tickets, briefing notes, correspondence, invitations, business cards, guest lists, menus, schedules, press clippings, and other textual records and ephemera. Also contains a published copy of an article titled, The Republic of China on Taiwan belongs in the United Nations by Lien Chan. The article was originally printed in the Fall 1993 issue of Orbis: A Journal of World Affairs published by the Foreign Policy Research Institute.

Also includes six reports relating to activities of the Tokyo Young Women's Christian Association (Y.W.C.A.), three by Emma Kaufman, two by Margaret Hockin and one unsigned. Also contains a typed transcript with title, "The psychology of Christian personality" by Ernest M. Ligon.

Also includes three reports relating to activities of the Tokyo Young Women's Christian Association (Y.W.C.A.), one by Emma Kaufman, one unattributed with typescript notes on a lecture, and one providing details of a ceremony honouring Emma Kaufman held June 24, 1939. Also contains the annual report of the Tokyo Y.W.C.A. for 1939, a report included in the "World's Y.W.C.A. Monthly Oct. 1939," and clippings. The letter dated May 6, 1939 is headed "Confidential" and describes conditions in Shanghai and Nanking (Nanjing) in China as witnessed by and reported to Emma Kaufman.

One letter has a photograph pasted-on of a party held in Emma Kaufman's home in Tokyo, Japan on March 19, 1937.
