The certificate is signed on behalf of the Entrance Board by D. Forsyth, chairman, and F.W. Sheppard, Secretary.

Twenty-seven advertising cards primarily from American retailers, manufacturers and organizations, which apppear to have been distributed at the World's Columbian Exposition (Chicago World's Fair) in 1893 during the period in which Etta Lydia Mary White (nee Schantz) was residing in Chicago. A printed set of fourteen midsummer examinations issued by the Education Department, Province of Ontario in various subjects including arithmetic, writing, euclidean geometry, German and history. The examinations appear to be part of the requirements of the program of study in preparation for normal or teacher training school.
