Many photographs from the period 1895-1906 were taken and possibly developed by Martha Rieder.

Series contains eight portraits (plus two duplicates) by Notman & Son, Montreal, all of which are in very good condition; and many portraits by James Esson of Preston. Includes loose photographs, photograph albums, and negatives.

Most materials document the ownership history of the property consisting of Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, and in particuar Lot 3, on the south (or west) side of Ahrens Street and the north side of Weber Street in David Weber's survey in the town of Berlin (now Kitchener); this property contained the Anthes home at 44 Weber Street and the Rieder home at 58 Roy Street.

Also present are documents relating to other land in Berlin as well as land in the Township of Wilmot, the Town of Moberly, and the District of Parry Sound. Series includes mortgages, deeds and certificates of ownership, abstracts from the Registry Office (Berlin), invoices, etc.

Series consists of material accumulated by Peter Rieder relating to taxes paid in Saskatchewan and Alberta. Includes correspondence, tax notices, and tax receipts.

Series consists of company newsletters, produced and distributed for internal communications and publicity purposes. The Cobbler, published by the Greb Shoes Employees' Association, was begun in 1952. It was replaced with the Greb Newshound in 1962, and was published until [ca. 1971?]. In 1978, a new company newsletter, Greb Footnotes, was launched. Series may not include a complete run of any one publication, and some issues may be missing.

Series consists of records relating to the Hush Puppies brand of footwear and international meetings of Hush Puppies licencees. Includes newsletters; conference presentations; and correspondence, press clippings, and other material relating to the organization and publicity of the 1974 Hush Puppies World Conference, part of which was hosted by Greb Industries Limited in Kitchener.

Series consists of material relating to the sales, marketing, and advertising of Greb Shoes and its various brands, including Hush Puppies, Bauer, Mohicans, Ramblers, and Cat Treads. Includes magazine and newspaper advertisements, fliers, point-of-purchase advertisements, advertisements for Greb retailers and sales staff, speeches given at a sales meeting, a marketing case study, and other advertising material.

Series consists of records accumulated and used by Charles E. Greb in his role as exectuive vice-president of Greb Industries Limited. Includes memoranda to the management group, and correspondence, ephemera, and other material relating to a retirement dinner for several senior executives.

Series consists of records relating to the administration of Greb Industries Limited; its subsidiary companies, Valentine and Martin Limited and Greb Shoes Limited; and its predecessors, the Greb Shoe Company Limited and the Berlin Shoe Manufacturing Company Limited. Records relate to company management, accounting, personnel, operations, facilities, and the sale of Greb Industries Limited to Warrington Products Limited.

Annual reports cover the period from 1967 to 1973. Series also includes scrapbooks containing photographs, newspaper clippings, ephemera, and correspondence relating to John's experience in the war. Also present are certificates relating to Lt. William Jamieson (Jamie) Martin and Wilson Martin.

Series consists of 140 pieces of correspondence and a small amount of related ephemera and clippings. Includes mainly letters written to John Alexander and Jessie Martin from John Gartshore Martin during his service with the Canadian military during World War II, describing his daily activities, social outings, leaves, meetings with friends and relatives, and general news about the war.

Records pertain to the administration and activities of the Commission. Includes correspondence (including carbon copies) and minutes of regular, annual, and executive committee meetings.

Correspondence is addressed to the water commissioners in general, or to individual commissioners (mainly chairman J.C. Breithaupt) or the superintendent (W.
