Series consists of spiral-bound volumes and scrapbooks of original and photocopies of newspaper clippings relating to the activities of the Grand River Conservation Commission, Grand Valley Conservation Authority and Grand River Conservation Authority. The materials are organized chronologically; scrapbooks of clippings devoted to particular events such as floods on the Grand River are present.

Grand Valley Conservation Authority : report on Breslau Dam and Community Pond, Breslau, Ont.

Consists of ts.report for tenderers regarding the reconstruction of a spillway section of the Breslau Community Pond and Mill Dam, Breslau, Ont. prepared by the Ontario Department of Commerce and Development. The report notes that the Breslau dam was broken out during Hurrican Hazel in October, 1954. Includes background report, information to bidders, forms of tender and agreement, general contract conditions and clauses and specifications.

Also present are blueline drawings of the general arrangement, plans, elevations and sections of the Breslau Dam and Community Pond prepared by the Ontario Department of Commerce and Development, February 28, 1961.
