File consists of a bound collection of court documents relating to the case before the Commissioner of Internal Revenue (Washington, DC) in the matter of F.W. Woolworth Co. for the recovery of property in Germany claimed as a war loss. Includes the application for ruling as well as exhibits relating to the case (most of which are photostatic copies). Includes a copy of an affidavit by Keffer in his role as executive vice president of the company. The case concerns a warehouse in Sonneberg that was destroyed during the war, leaving only the land which was located in East Germany.
