Material is divided into the following tabs: Electrohome motor, Eaton's, Simpson's, Hudson's Bay, and Macleod's Limited (latter three tabs are empty).

File consists of correspondence from H.G. Acres, chief engineer, mainly to secretary-treasurer F.P. Adams and his successors P.A. Ballachey (1941-1942) and E.F. Roberts (from 1942), regarding the contracts for the construction of the Shand dam and related work. Letters are carbon copies sent to Marcel Pequegnat. File also includes a blueprint relating to repairs to the Shand dam.

File consists of material relating to the formation and operations of the Radio Production Alliance and the securing of contracts from the Department of National Defense for the production of radio equipment during World War II. Includes carbon copies of correspondence and memoranda, ms. notes, one technical drawing, and other documents. Correspondence is among the members of the Alliance, and with the Department of National Defense, Department of Munitions and Supply, and the Royal Canadian Air Force. File probably belonged to Carl A. Pollock.

Specifications for the building of 110 John Boulevard, Waterloo, Ont, owned by H.L. Guy, Esq., drawn up by Forsey, Page & Steele Registered Architects, Toronto, Ont. The specifications include a table of contents and 28 pages outlining masonry, carpentry, painting and glazing, lathing and plastering, electric wiring, plumbing, tiling, and heating for the home.

Sheet two shows the basement floor plan and the comfort station basement floor plan.

File consists of architectural drawings for the proposed Kitchener city hall, by W.H.E. Schmalz. The plans are dated Oct. 10, 1921. A small moon drawing is present where an architect's signature would usually be found. Sheet one shows two elevations and a cross section, sheet two shows four floor plans (ground floor, first floor and two small rooms), sheet three shows a basement floor plan and a block plan.

Sheet two shows six floor plans. The plans are unsigned, but thought to be by W.H.E. Schmalz based on similarity to other signed plans. A small beehive drawing is present where an architect's signature would usually be found.

File consists of material relating to the construction of a water tower (on Edward Street, later Duke Street) and a concrete water reservoir and pumping station (at Shoemaker Avenue) for the Berlin water works; sewage disposal works and a trunk sewer extension for the Town of Waterloo; and water works for the Town of Hespler (later Cambridge).

Includes typed specifications and information for bidders (carbon copies), post cards from potential contractors, a proposal (including an architectural drawing), draft and blank contracts, and other documents.
