He reports on an accidental fall suffered by Godfroy Patteson, husband of King's good friend Joan Patteson, and says in closing "I am glad, despite the length of the speech, that its reading created the favourable impression which your letter mentions."

Oberlander was a resident of Andrew Telegdi’s constituency. Records primarily include correspondence between Telegdi, constituents, associations, corporate entities, and fellow politicians such as Herb Gray, Elinor Caplan, and Denis Coderre, as well as articles written by Jerzy T. Pindera and other textual material.
The file also includes press clippings, correspondence, and news releases related to criticism Telegdi received following remarks he made on May 4, 2001 that compared Canada’s deportation procedures to those in Stalinist or Nazi totalitarian regimes. In addition, the file contains records documenting a public exchange between Telegdi and Keith Landy, then President of the Canadian Jewish Congress. Furthermore, the file contains material related to public exchanges between Telegdi and Warren Kinsella, a Canadian lawyer, and Liberal Party activist including correspondence, news releases, and a notice of liability possibly sent to Warren Kinsella and The Toronto Star by Telegdi.

He comments about the good work of Brother Moyer, Brother Jacob, and Brother S. Eby. Before signing off he shares that his wife recently gave birth to a daughter and that he will be travelling to Cleveland.
Anthes' shares that he is one again in good health and that the doctor said he'd "improved beyond all expectations". He notes however that he has to be careful and can't preach, but that he has led a prayer assembly and has occasionally given the Invitation. He gives thanks to the prayer of his Brothers and Sisters in Christ as the reason for his recovery. Anthes also offers updates about various families and people including the Schwedenborgians, Brother M. Weber, Brother Mayer and Brother Umbach. He asks that his parents pass on well wishes to Brother Meyer, J. Wolfs, the Anthes, the Meyers and "all the Brothers and Sisters."

Typewritten letter from William Lyon Mackenzie King to Harvey J. Sims dated July 21, 1928 concerning his inability to accept an invitation to visit the Sims, and announcing his decision to "be one of the delegation to represent Canada at the forthcoming Assembly of the League of Nations at Geneva in September," detailing travel and speaking engagements in Manitoba and Saskatchewan and a visit to his constituency of Prince Albert. King regards the trip to Geneva as a sacrifice as it "means another summer and autumn lost as far as Kingsmere is concerned." King also says that he has asked his Secretary to "find out from the Department of Marine and Fisheries what may be possible and should be done to secure the trout you are anxious for." In a handwritten P.S. King says "I find from Dept of Marine & Fisheries that the provincial govt has entire charge of fish hatcheries in Ontario. You had better [two words illegible] to Hon Chas McCrea."

Also included is a carte de visite full body portrait of Philip dressed in military uniform. A note on the verso indicates that he is a captain. Philip would later fight in the American Civil War.
