Album 2.

File consists of an album probably compiled by one or more of Martha Rieder's children. Includes snapshots of Martha and Talmon Henry Rieder, their children, and their family, many of them with extended family and friends. Includes snapshots taken at Felsheim, Woods Bay, Bayview Cottage, the family home on Belmont Ave in Montreal, etc. Album also includes newspaper clippings, letters to Santa from Edward and Paul Rieder, a letter from Edward to Talmon Henry Rieder, and ephemera. Some of the photographs include dates/captions, and album contains the handwriting of several different individuals.

Some photographs were taken for use in company publications and sales and marketing material, and some of these have been touched-up. Some of the photographs are reproductions of earlier photographs. Some photographs include ms. annotations on verso; some photographs have ts. captions attached to them. Some duplicate photographs are present.

File consists of photographs of the products, facilities, and people of RMS from 1918 until the late 1960's or early 1970's. Includes photographs of the products manufactured at RMS; photographs of the RMS facilities, including interior and exterior shots, as well as some photographs taken at other Uniroyal facilities (e.g. St. Jerome, Elmira); and photographs (including group portraits) of employees in various departments, such as office staff, engineering & drafting, tool makers, and the operating council, and employees at work.

File consists of material relating to the planning, coordination, and publicity for the sales incentive trip to Quebec City and Montreal in 1994 for Projection Systems sales representatives. Includes correspondence and memoranda (some faxed), completed registration forms, ms. notes, tourism brochures, edited draft versions of the travel itinerary and information booklet, print-outs of presentation slides, snapshots of hotel facilities, draft versions of a video script advertising the trip, copies of the trip logo, and other material.

Quebec referendum of 1995.

Material created or accumulated by Andrew Telegdi during his tenure as a Member of Parliament related to the referendum on Quebec sovereignty held on October 30, 1995. The material documents the opinions of some constituents as well as Telegdi’s political involvement in the matter including his attendance at the Unity Rally in Montreal, Quebec on October 27, 1995, and his efforts to help constituents attend the rally. The file also contains a letter written by Telegdi in November 1995 likely sent to participants in the Unity Rally thanking them for their support. In addition, the material documents his participation on various committees promoting a united Canada following the referendum such as the United Canada Committee and the Commitment Canada Committee. Records include correspondence, press clippings, news releases, and other textual material.

Material created or accumulated by Andrew Telegdi during his tenure as a Member of Parliament related to his involvement with the Canada-Cyprus Friendship Group. Records include correspondence, an overview of the European Court of Human Rights ruling regarding the legal consequences of Turkey’s invasion and military presence in Cyprus, a resolution created by Canadian citizens in Montreal to mark the twenty-seventh anniversary of Turkish invasion in Cyprus, and related material. Also includes items related to an address of the President of the Republic of Cyprus at the United National General Assembly, and a news release regarding the presidential elections in Cyprus held on February 16, 2003.

A book titled, Inuit Kanatami published by Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami in 2003. The book includes sections related to Inuit historical perspectives, the Inuit Tapirisat of Canada, whaling, the fur trade, missionaries, government, community transportation, housing, health, education, economic development, Nunatsiavut, Inuvialuit, Nunavik, and Nunavut. In addition, the book provides a timeline and statistics from the 2001 Canadian Census on Inuit population. The book is written in Inuktitut Qaliujaaqpait, Inuktitut Syllabics, and English.
