Consists of an original film titled : "April 6th, 1929 Galt Flood," which was either produced by or collected by Bill Law. The material was incorporated into a master, and working print of a film titled : GRCA prologue, produced for the GRCA on May 12, 1978.

Series consists of DVD transfers from original films and videocassettes, several of which were acquired by the GRCA from donors. Includes transfers of original films made by Hugh Templin, a GRCA commissioner. During the 1940s, Templin took footage of the construction phases of the Shand Dam, near Belwood, Ont. and its subsequent opening and early operation.
