Series consists of two local history films accumulated by the Kitchener-Waterloo Record. Includes one of downtown Kitchener, and one of the 118th battalion of Kitchener during First World War.

Crowds on a street, a street car, automobiles. The 118th Battalion on parade with crowds lining either side of the street and the downtown Kitchener area. Some of the photographs were used in The Greb Story. File also includes a press clipping about the appointment of Peter B. Mason as a director of Greb Industries Limited.

File consists of miscellaneous material relating mainly to the history of RMS. Includes correspondence and memoranda (mainly among company managers and executives), reports and proposals, newspaper and magazine clippings (mainly obituaries of former employees), ms. notes, photocopied items, photographs, and two architectural drawings. File also includes a program and ribbon from the 1920 Dominion Rubber Systems annual picnic, and the August 1, 1920, issue of the Keystone (newsletter for employees of Dominion Rubber System in Kitchener, Elmira, and Port Dalhousie).

It is not clear who accumulated the material in the file or for what purpose.

One Tuesday, April 11, 1933 edition of the Kitchener Daily Record of significance unknown.

Series documents John Walter’s correspondence with William Daum Euler and the Kitchener Daily Record. The correspondence focus on Walter’s request for a public debate with Euler over capitalism and the economy. Other correspondence and newspaper clippings cover the Record’s refusal to publish, in their newspaper, the letters Walter sent about challenging Euler. There are also clippings of Euler's speech which Walter references in his letters.

Collection contains a scrapbook of newspaper clippings concerning the 1935 federal elections in Canada. They document the campaign in Kitchener-Waterloo and the surrounding area, along with other parts of Ontario, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. Included is coverage of various political parties such as the Conservatives, Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (C.C.F.) and Liberals. Clippings predominantly originate from the Kitchener Daily Record, with others from the Mail and Empire, the Toronto Star, and Daily Star appearing throughout.

Three clippings regarding Leavine in his capacity an alderman in the 1940s. One from the Kitchener Daily Record, dated Tuesday, December 31, 1940, reports that Leavine had been named chairman of the finance committee of City Council at the pre-inaugural caucus held on Dec. 30, 1940. Another, also from the Record, dated December 8, 1942 includes names and portraits of Kichener's newly elected 1943 city council, including Leavine. The final clipping is undated and outlines the results of the municipal election in Kitchener during which Leavine was once again elected to city council by 6,169 votes, receiving more votes than any other individual elected to the Kitchener council that year.
