File consists of material relating to the 1972 strike at the Dare Foods Limited biscuit plant in Kitchener, including the return of employees to work after the strike and the court case between the company and several employees regarding a breach of injunction. The text reads, "Dear Sister: Thank you for that beautiful neck-tie you sent me. This is a picture of a few at the shop, taken at Supper time, while we were at night work. Lawrence." The postcard image is of 13 men and women in the interior of the C.H. Doerr Company plant.

The photographs are accompanied by a note which reads "Louise Glebe (1891-1977) became Secretary-Treasurer of C.H. Doerr Co. Ltd. in 1919, upon the company's incorporation. She married C.H. Doerr in the 1930's, becoming his third wife and outlived him by 36 years. Edward Doerr (1865-1944) was a "shipper" and one of the founding shareholders of C.H. Doerr Co. Ltd. in 1919. He was a brother - three years older - of C.H. Doerr.

Many of the photographs show product packaging written in both English and French.
