File consists of one handmade 13 x 10 cm 180 page idea book created and used by Tony Urquhart. The book is bound in orange paper and the cover has a small circle drawing with the initials T.U. and the dates 2008-2009.

Many records detail events and activities held in Hungary in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of revolutions that swept across Europe in 1848. In addition, several documents address Hungary’s integration into Europe and interest in joining the United Nations. Other records outline the condition of Hungarian schools in Transylvania, the repatriation of Hungarian owned artwork residing in Canada following the Second World War, and other topics. Records include reports, speech transcripts, correspondence, invitations, handwritten notes, and a notebook.

One notebook formerly belonging to Etta Lydia Mary Schantz, used by her daughter Dorothy Russell as an address book. The notebook was a promotional item published in 1894 by H.F.C. Dovenmuehle & Son, Boots, Shoes and Rubbers, Chicago, Ill.

Collection consists of a handwritten recipe book kept by members of the Charette family, primarily Helen Charette and Ann Lauzon. Many of the recipes are indicated as being from other women, and names include Mrs. Baker, Bertha, Mrs. McDonald, Mrs. McCollough, Mrs. Duchene, Mémé Langlois, Mrs. McKee, Mrs. Laramie, Mrs. Martin, Mrs. McClelland. All of the recipes are for food, excepting one which is a remedy for rheumatism. The Five Roses Cook Book is also included.
