Consists of ts. minutes of meetings of the Grand River Conservation Commission pasted into a bound volume. Includes minutes of annual meetings of the GRCC, 1939-1941. Minutes for May 19 and May 27, 1938, respectively, are duplicated in GRCC Minute Book no. 1.

Consists of a published booklet titled, Conserving the waters of the Grand River : a necessary public work, by the Grand River Conservation Commission, June, 1936. The booklet reviews the GRCC's general plan for conservation of waters of the Grand River, particularly its proposals to establish reservoirs upon the upper reaches of the Grand River and its tributaries. Includes attached tables summarizing flow data at Fergus and Galt from 1914 to 1936.

Colin Campbell, Minister of Public Works, on Wednesday June 27th, 1938 at 2:30 p.m. at the residence of Commissioner Hugh Templin, Fergus, Ontario."

File consists of agenda, minutes, supporting documents and related correspondence. Includes ts. originals of some items. Includes newspaper clippings and ms. notes. The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss with other county and township councils the "advisability of organizing a conservation association throughout the territory bordering the Grand River and tributary streams and in Grey County to the north for the purpose of carrying out conservation in all its branches." Includes a memorandum from J.R. Dymond, Secretary, concerning the "Guelph Conference," forwarded to E.F. Roberts by Wm. Philip with note: "This is your baby, Roberts. "

File consists of minutes, supporting documents and related correspondence, some original, for a special meeting held to "inform the Commission concerning the results of the Special Committee's meeting with the Minister, Department of Planning and Development, subsequent correspondence and a personal meeting the Chairman had with the Minister regarding the use of lands owned by the Commission in the Conestogo Area."

Includes correspondence between Chairman M. Pequegnat and W.M. Nickle, Minister of the Dept. of Planning and Development, concerning the Commission's legal authority to lease cottage lots. At this meeting Ilmar Kao was appointed as Manager and Assistant Secretary as of Oct. 15, 1958. Includes ms. notes.

File consists of agenda, minutes and supporting documents. Includes original correspondence to the Commission from Chairman Geo. E. Fisher and a 4 p. ts. carbon report by E.F. Roberts: "Water supply to municipalities and other users within the Grand River watershed." Includes ms. draft minutes by I. Kao. Also in this file are copies of a "Memorandum to the County Road Committee of the County of Wellington re: the Conestogo project of the Grand River Conservation Commission" dated July 30, 1956 and marked "Exhibit A." Its presence in this file is unaccounted for.
