Breithaupt Hewetson Clark collection

This collection, donated to the University of Waterloo in 1988 by the family of the late Rosa Breithaupt Hewetson Clark and Spencer Clark, includes family papers from three families, the Breithaupt family, the Hewetson family, and the Clark family; records from the Guild of All Arts in Scarborough, Ontario, founded by Rosa Breithaupt Hewetson Clark and Spencer Clark; and several smaller collections acquired by the Breithaupt family and by Spencer Clark. The personal library of Spencer Clark, which includes many books, periodicals, government documents, and ephemeral items, was donated together with the archival collections, and is particularly strong in the fields of urban planning, architecture, and Canadian art.

Breithaupt Anthes family photographs.

Materials related to the Breithaupt family, specifically the family branch Breithaupt Anthes, started by John Christian Breithaupt and Carrie Breithaupt. Includes photographs of the family in different locations and participating in various social activities, the family home in Kitchener and their vacation home in Penetanguishene, studio photographs of several members of the family, trips and travels in Canada and Europe, and photographs of later members of the family in different locations. Some of the photographs appear to be from later descendants of John Christian Breithaupt and Carrie Breithaupt.

Also contains textual records related to the political campaign led by Louis Jacob Breithaupt (John Christian Breithaupt's brother) and a metal printing plaque for the wedding of Helen Esther Breithaupt (daughter of John Christian Breithaupt and Carrie Breithaupt).
