The couple had six children: Frederick Albert; Maria Martha Louise; Rudolph Anthes; Ruth Anna Catherine; Arthur Liborius; David John. Lydia died June 18, 1942 in Toronto, Ontario. She was interred at Mount Hope Cemetery in Kitchener.</p>
